I've done it again
Living with the Paynes causes some glitches in my technological abilities. I have once again posted an update on Deachi's blog. At least this one wasn't as long as the other & involves ALL kids.
Mosey on over to the Payne blog to check out some pictures of the kids creating their own t-shirts.

A beautiful smile with one less tooth
Mom & Dad invited us all over for dinner tonight. Corry & Calyn both have very wiggly teeth - Calyn even has a permanent tooth popping up behind her baby tooth, so when I saw that Dad had made corn on the cob, I asked the girls, "who wants some corn on the cob so they can try to rip out their loose teeth?" Both wanted corn.
While we were eating Corry said she had something caught in her teeth & it was bothering her - it looked like a piece of chicken skin was caught between her teeth, so I told her to just reach in there and try to pull out the chicken. Calyn said "her tooth is missing!" We all kind of dismissed it & Corry took off in the bathroom to investigate. Calyn came running out screaming "she lost her tooth and she's bleeding!" Sure enough, Corry emerged from the bathroom with one less tooth in her head.
The search was on to find the missing tooth - we dug around in her corn on the cob, in her plate, looked on the table. We asked her if she remembered swallowing anything hard and she said "no, I spit something out though." So Uncle Olech got down on his hands and knees & located my sweet little girl's first lost baby tooth.
I called Grandma Connie to let her in on the exciting news & she told me that she lost her first tooth eating corn on the cob!
Corry is so incredibly excited! She's wondering if the tooth fairy will bring her $30,000 for her tooth. If that's what they are going for these days, them I'm pulling out all mine tonight. I'm excited for her, but a little sad to look at that little tooth knowing that just 5 1/2 short years ago that little thing was causing all kinds of excitement because it was the first one to cut through those little gums. My how the time flies.
So here's my baby at 6 years, 1 month, and 9 days with her first missing tooth!
